catch-up

It’s been a very busy last few days catching up with lovely friends. Our somewhat chaotic weekend (chaotic in a very good way!) started with us meeting up with “old” friends Diane, Steve, Debby, Ken, Gail and Ian for an excellent lunch at River Cottage Canteen on Whiteladies Road, Bristol. Gail+Ian stayed with us overnight and we decided to start Saturday enjoying an excellent “light breakfast” at one of the fine cafes in St Nick’s market.

One of the many bonuses of the weekend was opening an email yesterday morning from lovely Dutch friends Dick+Dientje (who I first met on Iona in 2006) and then arranging an impromptu tea-coffee-cake-wine get-together around the harbourside… as you do!
Good times.
